Days 1-3

Good morning, everyone!!

We finally have internet access and are able to update you on our trip!
Our travel day was quick and efficient with no issues or setbacks, so praise the Lord for that!
We arrived late at night at our final destination where we gathered as a team for debriefing, devotion, and a delicious meal before our first night’s stay.
On Saturday, Clinic began bright and early! We started to set up the doctor’s stations, the pharmacy, and the registration area around 7:00am to be fully prepared for patients to arrive around 8:00am.
Our clinic day began rather slowly with a few patients trickling in here and there for a total of 23 patients for the whole day, but each patient was a blessing to our lives and truly had the love of Jesus in their hearts!!
Times are a little different during this trip and our team, our hosts, and our patients are all following the highest safety protocols to ensure the safety of all of God’s children!
This morning, Sunday, we had the opportunity to worship with our fellow brothers and sisters at church! We were also able to sing “Glorify Thy Name” during the church service and share in that hymn with other fellow believers.
For the rest of the day today, we will be introducing a hygiene discussion seminar-like time to the people of Guatemala. With a smaller team this year, we are not able to provide the hygiene talk to all patients as they enter the clinic, so we are doing a separate time for all people to come and learn about how to maintain good bodily hygiene, dental hygiene, as well as eating healthy foods!

Thank you for your continued prayers and support as we are serving the people of the Lord here in Guatemala!
More posts will come as the week continues if it is God’s plan to have continued wifi access!!
